On the 24th of December, 1868, Mr. Deem was united in marriage to Miss Mary E. Bruce, and together they lived happily until death separated them, on the 7th of January, 1891. One son was born to them, Charles H., who lives near Eaton. Several years after the death of her first husband, Mrs. Deem became the wife of his brother, George W. Deem. in 1900. |
