She was born on Sept. 7, 1941, in Parkersburg, the daughter of Walter and Nellie Boyce Deem. She had been a resident of the area since 1968. She was a cook at Shoney's in Branson for 18 years before her retirement.

Survivors are her three daughters, Laresa Depew of Rockaway Beach, Mo., Melinda Whitson of Highlandville, Mo., and Aliea Marshall of Branson; one brother, Fred Deem of Belpre; one sister, Joanne Cox of Little Hocking, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Larry Linebarger; her parents; a brother, Robert Deem; and two sisters, Patricia Deem and infant Baby Deem.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beacon of Hope Church in Rockaway Beach, Mo., with the Rev. James Thomas officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the National Cemetery in Springfield, Mo. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.1
