Deems Miller. On Dec. 20, 1946, she married Glen Dawson. Delma worked at Rubber Fabricators in Grantsville for 11 years. She was an employee of the Calhoun County Bank, also of Grantsville, for 16 years and of The Huntington Bank of Parkersburg for 13 years. She was a life long member of Bryner Chapel United Methodist Church at Joker and taught Sunday school there for many years. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Glen Dawson; a sister, Velma Deems Dillard and husband, Warren; sisters-in-law, Edna Mason and husband, Myron, and Carolyn Elza and husband, James; a brother-in-law, John Dawson and wife, Mamie; 11 nieces and nephews, Stanley Dillard, Sherry Dillard Eugenio, Sandra Dawson Sullivan, Rick Dawson, Stephanie Mason McNeil, Diatra Mason Stewart, Brian Mason, Melissa Mason Sharrock, Jessica Elza Porter, Cara Elza Lyons and Peter Elza; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will follow at the Bryner Chapel Cemetery of Joker. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.1 |
