She is survived by a daughter, Tonda Cottrill and Tim Anthony of Parkersburg; two sons, Thomas (Mike) Batson and his wife, Janine Fogleman, of Struthers, Ohio, and Steven Ray Butler of Marietta; a special companion, Richard (Dick) Sams of Belpre; two brothers, Jack Beckett of Parkersburg and Kenny Beckett of Twin City, Minn; a sister, Arlene White of Newark, W.Va; seven grandchildren, Shad Mace, Jake Cottrill, Amos Cottrill, Rikki Lee Batson, Kenny Fogleman and Marco and Nikki Giovanni; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Giovanni Jr; and a brother, Eddie Beckett. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Green Haven Cemetery, Austintown, Ohio, with James Elder Tracewell officiating.
