Charles Thomas Dickson, 69, of 1812 Avery Street, died at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital early Saturday morning. He was born in Parkersburg, October 29, 1902, son of the late T. M. and Nellie Welsh Dickson, attended the 7th St. United Methodist Church, was a member of the Mt. Olivet No. 3 Masonic Lodge and Nemesis Shrine. He was employed at Parkersburg Steel for over 50 years and was a member of the Steel Workers Union. He was a life member of he Musicians Union. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elva Dickson, one son, Jack L. of Parkersburg, one daughter, Clesta Dickson at home; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Helmick and Mrs. Ruby Cottrill, both of Huntington, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two -brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 3:30.p.m. Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray N. Shaffer and the Rev. David Cottrill officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
