EUGENE EMERICK Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Leavitt Funeral Home for Mrs. Edith Anita Emerick, 43, who died yesterday morning at her home, 2705 Emerson Ave., following an illness of three months. She was the wife of Eugene Emerick. Mrs. Emerick had been employed at the Montgomery Ward store in Parkersburg for eight years. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Parkersburg Gideon Camp and the Baptist Temple, where she served as church clerk, sang in the choir, and was a member of the W.M.U. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Richard Eugene, two daughters, Helen and Donna, all at home; four brothers, Kermit, Clark and Walter Deem of Norfolk, Va; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Robbins of Washington, W. Va., Mrs. Elva Dickson and Mrs. Kathryn Coe, both of this city, and Mrs. Marian Phillips of Cairo, and her father, Washington L. Deem of this city. The Rev. T. B. Turley will officiate at services with burial following in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.2 |
