OBITUARY - PARKERSBURG NEWS - FEBRUARY 29, 1968 MRS. LUCY E. COOPER
Mrs. Lucy E. Cooper, 55, of 608 East Street, died yesterday morning at her home following an extended illness. Born at Mineral Wells, she was a daughter of the late Fleet Barnett and Zada Deem Lantz. She was a member of the Vaught Chapel Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Bernie R. Cooper, two sons, Franklin Cooper of Parkersburg, and Sgt. Clarence E. Cooper, serving with the U. S. Air Force at Allus Air Force Base, Altus, Okla; one daughter, Mrs. Sharon Ruth Wilson of Vienna, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Vaught Chapel Methodist Church. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services to lie in state. Burial will be in Vaught Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Leavitt Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
