Clarksburg - Mrs. Emma C. McDaniel, 80, of Point Street, Clarksburg, died Tuesday in the Meadowview Manor, Bridgeport, W. Va., following an extended illness. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Chesterville, W. Va., a daughter of the late Gilba K. and Dora E. Deem Cooper. She was a member of the Board Oaks United Methodist Church, was a retired employee of Parson-Souders Stone & Thomas. Surviving are a nephew, Charles M. Hutzler of Parkersburg, six nieces, Mrs. Joan Dunne and Mrs. Virginia Jarvis both of Florida, Mrs. Maw Hare of Vienna, W. Va., Mrs. Marie Walters and Mrs. Shirley Stanley both of Parkersburg and Mrs. Donna Overton of Sandyville, W. Va. She was preceded in death by her husband Zane McDaniel, by a daughter, Nancy, two sisters and a brother. Services will be conducted Friday 1 p.m. at the David-Weaver Funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Harold Sims officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
