BLANCH SWESEY Mrs. Blanch Swesey. 77. died at 6:30 am, yesterday at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Clara Johnson. 1818 Park Ave.. following a brief illness. Born at Chesterville, Wood County, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Laura Deem. She was a resident of Weirton and had been visiting with her sister at the time of her death. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Weirton and The Rehekah lodge. Survivors include her sister. Mrs. Johnson. four brothers. Charlie Deem of Parkershurg, William Deem of Chesterville. Harry H Deem of Akron. Elmer Deem of Pittsburgh; several nieces and nephews. Mrs Swesey was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. A memorial service will he held by Miriam Rehekah lodge No. 1 at 7:30 p.m. today at the Leavitt funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray N. Shatter officiating. Burial will he in the Rockland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until the time ofthe service. |
