DEEM Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Leavitt funeral home for William E. Deem, 92, of Chesterville, who died suddenly Friday evening at his son's residence. Burial will be in Chesterville cemetery. Born at Chesterville, a son of the late Michael and Laura Deem, he was a life long resident of the community and a member of the Chesterville Methodist Church. Survivors include, one son, Willard C. Deem; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Swartz and Mrs. Freda Garl, both of Akron, Ohio., Mrs. Marie Gordon, Little Hocking and Mrs. Faye Wells, Parkersburg; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and three g. g. grandchildren. Three sons and his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Jenny James Deem, preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today. |
