Va., By John A. House. George Foutty lived about the mouth of Greave's Run, on the north side of the Kanawha River, above Newark. He was there in 1800 and was taxed for 400 hundred acres of land. His wife was Eve foutty and they raised a large family. William Fou who was probably the oldest child married Mary. He was a soldier in the waar of 1812. George Foutty died in 1808 willing his land to his sons, William Henry, Jacob and Isaac . He had seven children. |
